Boom and Bust, the true balance of nature when wolves are involved. Once the wolves work the ungulates down to 10% of what the land could support, then the wolves starve, eat each other too. Trouble is the land stagnates, elk & moose are non-existent, people have to stop hunting the area.

I hunted that area, maybe 50-60 miles outta Missoulla 25-30 years back, we always killed Elk. I hear there ain't one to be found today.

I absolutely detest humans who treat wolves like they are some kind of deity. Those humans are some kind of moron. Wolves are ruthless predators and will often kill just for fun. There are pictures to prove that.

I’ve never been one to hunt grazers but I love to hunt predators of the 4 legged variety. Tried to kill one of the god-like wild canines last winter down near Avery, ID with friends. Saw lots of wolf tracks but never saw a live animal. Didn’t see any elk or deer tracks either.
