Got to consider, however, that not even the Old Testament would convict without more than one witness, and there was also an annual expiation of sin. A line was drawn between private and notorious sin. That principle is being effaced here. Just saying.

The conservative side of modern Christendom is really big on condemnation, really small on leading people out of sin. It was not an accident that Exodus International (look them up) was not in favor of this move.

I agree but I fear that leading people out of sin is becoming a criminal act.

One cannot be led out of the bondage of sin who doesn’t want to be led out of it. That’s why the gospel commission is a warning from God and a witness against the world.
