I view birtherism and the rest of the Alex Jones crap as the the ultimate defeatism. It is conservatives retreating from real politics, real culture, and real life into the land of make believe. This is a bunch of silly BS nobody cares about. It has no relation to the real world. It is escapism from reality by people who find the real world scary.
We just need to keep supporting electable candidates and use reasonable, persuasive rhetoric, and one day, one day REAL soon, we’ll win this war of ideas.
