It’s now time for the county Sheriffs to start announcing that they will not uphold this unconstitutional law.

How did the state know who to send these letters to?I would assume by the federal background check when you buy an evil black gun...

It is only an hour and a half drive from the capital of Connecticut to Lexington Mass. I know it is also over 200 years away but I’m thinking that there is a lesson that should be learned from there.

In the real world, that story don't work. It did not work for the Germans. It won't work here. I seen a video on you tube about life in Germany when the National Socialists took power. The guy said that one morning that the police arrived and dug up his neighbor's garden,[we would refer to it as his back yard]they did not find anything but they took him in. He later learned that word was that his neighbor had a machine gun buried in his garden. They [the police] subsequently beat his neighbor to death trying to get him to confess. Therefore, the reality is that when the police come to your house for your guns, you are going to do, or not do what ever you are going to do then and there. You can like or you can dislike it. You can believe it or not believe it.
That said, ever how it goes with CT is how it will go with the Nation. will the people surrender or will they fight?

And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.

we are returning your application... because it was not received... ???
There was no application submitted, sooo they are guessing that they are "owed" one?
And it is too late now, the numbers are out (3.7% compliance) so the citizens know they have already won.
Nothing to do now but wait them out.
California SKS "ban" all over again.

How did the state know who to send these letters to? That letter went to gun owners who attempted to comply with the registration order, but missed the date deadline due to late mailing or whatever. It did not go out to all of the 320,000 (or so) owners who filed no papers.
When *that* crowd starts getting nastygrams from the state, things will really get interesting. After all, that "382,000" estimate came from some data source, officially legal or otherwise.

And odumbo sits silently on the sidelines waiting for the upheaval so he can pounce and call for Marshall Law when the shooting starts. Odds are I’m close to being right should the state go forward with their threat.

Connecticut is run by anti-Free-America degenerates who haven't read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Throw these bums OUT!

ever how it goes with CT is how it will go with the NationI don't believe so, northeastern liberal states have quite a different mindset than some western states.

Were these letters registered or certified? If not, how do they know they were received, or doesn’t it matter.
I believe unregistered weapons are the very antidote to gun registration.
Viva la Revolution, Connecticut!

These are people who sent their registrations in late.
If you were late with the paperwork, CT is saying you must get rid of the guns/mags. They are not allowing the late registrations.
CT still has done nothing about people who did not register their guns at all.

Many CT gun owners sent their registrations in late, or they arrived late.
CT sent that letter to those people only.
CT is telling them they have to get rid of the guns/mags because CT is disallowing the late registrations.
CT probably assumes the guns were bought late and people tried to register them anyway.

That's the only way they are gonna get out of this and save face.

These people were idiots,imo.
By applying late, they reported their weapons/mags to the state after the deadline.
Now they are stuck.
CT knows about their weapons/mags now, and CT won’t grandfather their weapons/mags.

What about the brothers and sisters in neighboring states? Guerrilla warfare? Sabotage? The 2nd Amendment has always been my line in the sand.

I’m just glad that gun control is an awfully tall order here in Michigan. Aside from Illinois, the neighboring states are gun states and it appears that the left has lost Detroit as their potential gun control stronghold. (5 defensive shootings last week and a police chief who is an outspoken supporter)
