Ukraines fugitive president surfaced on Thursday in Moscow, where he was said to have been seen at an opulent five-star hotel and a Kremlin country retreat once favored by the late Boris Yeltsin.
Viktor Yanukovych reportedly was granted protection in Russia, but he has not received a warm reception. Although Russia still considers him the legitimate president of Ukraine, the Kremlin has treated him cautiously and portrayed him as a coward who betrayed those who stood by him.

If he really stole something like $73 billion, he could easily make a deal with Putin, who, for a few billion, might just ignore him.

expect Russians to invade Ukraine.
Obama to declare it unfortunate.

Showed up in Moscow? Shocker. I honestly thought he will lead a popular uprising against usurpers. /s
Seriously, what a great disappointment for the Russian midgets - they bet on a cowardly greedy idiot, who managed to raise universal hatred towards him and his puppeteers.

It would be a grave mistake on Russian part: Ukraine is not puny Georgia, and people there are truly pissed off.

I'm wondering how much Russia charged him to let him in?

You know, back in the ‘70s, it was Havana.
Then, in the ‘80s, the U.S. (Cubans, Haitians, Eastern Europeans)
Then, in the oughts it was Canada
Now it’s Moscow.

Are we soon going to see a “request” for Russian peacekeepers in the Ukraine? It’s a little interesting how Putin is quietly consolidating power and slowly re-forming the “best” parts of the USSR.

That was Putin’s plan all along; the guy who said that the fall of the USSR was the “greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the twentieth century” was always going to work to reverse it. Right now, the name is the “Eurasian Union”.

Did he bring the $73 billion he stole with him or did he leave it in the Caymans?
