Except the highway had only two lanes in my direction, so you got over to the right when you finished your pass, as the new Texas code apparently directs.
It worked in Germany back then. Of course it is said that Germans are compliant at following orders. It worked well.
And remember the successful application of this system in Germany, is where the highway has unlimited speed.
Imagine. A win-win situation. Mr. German driver has the “freedom” to go as fast as he wants, provided he observes a few simple “rules.”
Americans sit around and debate the rules.
The German just gets in the car, follows the rules, and has fun.
