Vigils are being planned across the country to mark the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin a case that has stoked racial tensions and questioned Floridas stand your ground laws for the past two years.
Rallies are being held in major cities across the country, and many participants are being asked to wear hoodies in solidarity with the slain teen.

He had is Skittles and his watermelon drink, both ingredients for the drug he planned to concoct per his posting on social media. (BTW, the prosecution wouldn’t mention that it was watermelon — just called it “iced tea” — because “watermelon” might sound racist.) Political correctness has come so far that it’s now OK to present a half-assed prosecution, even if it means jeopardizing the integrity of a trial.
If Travon Martin had bashed George Zimmerman’s head into the concrete until he was dead, none of us would have ever heard a word about any of it ...
Here it is now, March 2, 2014 and If there were any ‘vigils’ they weren’t in the news, and aren’t found in a GOOGLE SEARCH.
I suspect that the parents of Trayvon don’t really like standing out in the cold holding a candle.
