I’ve gotta say, I’m shocked.

Bad economics, sure. But it has yet to poll lower than 65% approval with our low-info electorate. I thought this was a shoo-in.

Likewise. I've often wondered why the GOP doesn't tie all of this popular but counterproductive crap to something popular and useful like, say, increasing the $2500 medical savings deduction to something like $4000 and allowing you to carry it over from year to year and allowing you to purchase ANY medical type supplies, including nutritional supplement, even without a doctor's prescription.

Such a deduction would do a lot more to help people up to the middle class level than all the mandates in ObaMaoCare combined.

But I guess they don't call the GOP the Stupid Party for nothing.

It must not be polling well in those districts and states where Democrats are running for re-election; otherwise, they wouldn't be running away from it.
