You may be right, 11th. Another diversion. We have seen so many calculated diversion in the last 5 years. Ones where Unions have engaged in almost riots, meanwhile Obama is “penning” something again while everyone is looking the other way.

The plan is to keep the bases open and most of the appropriations flowing to campaign donor contractors. The big cuts are to personnel and some systems. This will be the hollow force campaign donor DOD the Dems have dreamed about.
The kenyan wants a new low base line DOD budget for the next round of the sequester. A lot of the politically explosive cuts will be put there to bust the sequestor again.
I don’t think any of this is a surprise. The GOP is in on this. After Ryan-Murray they had to know this was coming and did not sound the alarm.
