“How do you feel knowing I and others tell you that if you don’t get behind him and support him, you must be a RINO, simply because you don’t agree with us, who don’t know him at all?”
When have I done that? My goal is a more conservative US Senate. A third of the senate is up for election every second year (we have a couple of extras this year because of SC, HI and OK). To achieve a more conservative senate, those currently sitting in those seats should be scrutinized. Democrats are a given. Every one of them needs to be replaced, if possible. That leaves the republicans, and they should not be allowed to just get reelected or go unchallenged because they’re in republican states and we want to safely keep those seats. Because that makes those senators arrogant and will represent, not the state or their constituents, but themselves.
I don’t know you any more than I know Wolf or Roberts. Roberts may indeed win over Wolf, but in the past, politicians have more easily gotten reelected because nobody knows somebody else is running against them. So I post stories on FR to keep people informed of what’s going on with these primary challenges across the country.
I want a change in leadership and Roberts will vote for McConnell so I’m advocating for his removal by supporting Wolf. But I have absolutely no real influence whatsoever in Kansas other than to let those on FR know that their senator has an opponent.
Let's those of us here who have been, if not friends, at least friendly since at least 1998, not become advisories over our conservative candidates.
