Jumping to the front of a parade. Thinking he can do Abbott a favor. I dunno.

But it is this sort of gaffe that Democrats try to rub the maximum salt they can into the sores of. It might not seem fair the GOP needs to walk a tightrope, to avoid stirring up the chicken littles among voters. But until a greater godliness grips the land, that is what it is going to have to do. These ever coarser chesty thumpers might not be thumping their chests so hard in a blue Texas.

I follow your thinking. My way of thinking is not to be reactive to the liberals as so many are, it’s just another side of liberalism, but not as attractive to lib voters no better that mcromeyryan

Focusing on our foundation and what makes this country good is the only way to get ahead. We may as well do it now instead of after Hillary gets in and Texas turns blue

Hatred is just not a winner. Nor is senselessness of this sort. Did Abbott think he was going to have to hear this?

Abbott spoke last year at an event. It was not this silly hate tone. And it was before he declared his candidacy

Leaving the hatred to the libs is all that can be done. We cannot win, or don’t want to win in that arena
