Karen is a very old looking 51.
She may be needing that health “insurance”.
Absolutely sick. This is a good thing?
Without question, this article was written by the White House.
Karen “the sponger” Wilmus is the natural and logical outcome of “positive rights.”
The comments at the article are quite good.
I’m calling B.S. on that.
Keep sifting and sifting the details in a country of 300 million, and you will find a few individuals here or there who actually benefit from Obamacare.
Likely at a cost of $286,379 per head.
I just checked out the author on twitter. LOL.
She claims to be a writer, covering Obamacare. But her tweets are that of an advocate - telling people how to sign up. It’s laughable.
Ex...
Californians can sign up for #Obamacare plans thru @CoveredCA again. Tech problem fixed.
Connecticut residents can now enroll in #obamacare in Spanish. Check out http://accesshealthct.com . @AccessHealthCT
I’ll take her place in the classroom, no problem.
“Instead of eating bonbons on her couch, Willmus plans to start her own business with her teen daughter publishing materials for non-native English speakers and others looking to improve their literacy. She expects to work even more than she does now and hire two or three people.”
I’d like to ask her how much she expects to pay in salary. Nobody will take here jobs if she doesn’t pay them enough to cover their healthcare (subsidized or not), plus...
Good luck to the three “freed” from their jobs. I hope writing pamphlets for non-English speakers, tuning guitars and vacationing with the girlfriend are pursuits that bring in enough money to cover high deductibles, prescriptions and any increases in those “bargain” premiums that come down the line.
So, they are saying it cost the children a good teacher?
I have to admit that if obamacare were actually affordable and covered stuff (for myself and wife who is a stroke survivor), I would give thought to quitting my job and starting a business just to try it, but obamacare from what I have read scares me to death and frankly, while spreading risk is what insurance does, knowingly going out and spreading it I’m not comfortable with, if that makes sense. Also, obama is decimating the economy making it that much harder to launch a business. This is just not going to end well I’m afraid.
No mention in article if she’ll be getting a pension from her teaching job. If she’s 51, she could already have 25 or more years in as a teacher. Anybody know about the Colorado education system and if they have a pension program for their teachers?
She has two rude surprises coming. First is the health insurance deductable and second is the regulation hurdle built for startup businesses.
Wait, how is she gonna pay for her health ins, groceries, gas, other bills if she quits her job? This is stupid.
Dems have gone from jobs jobs jobs to quit your jobs!
She obviously doesn’t know how to compare those policies.
Does her teacher pension not kick in until she’s 60 or something?
The same liberals who were attacking the MI lady with cancer will be outraged if conservatives looks into the data on this woman (deductible, current benefits, pension, etc).
I'm sure all of this appeals to the Democratic viewers who have an IQ of a potato.
