On Sunday evening, award-winning actor and prominent left-wing activist Alec Baldwin announced that he was leaving "public life"--and blamed "Roger Ailes. And Fox. And Breitbart." In an extended rant to Joe Hogan, posted on vulture.com and published in New York magazine, Baldwin recounted his run-ins with paparazzi, his gay slur controversies, and his ill-fated talk show on MSNBC--but he reserved special resentment for Breitbart.

He did 2 good acting jobs. Hunt for Red October and Glengarry Glenross.
Those have been awhile ago, so.. Not too worried if he quits now.
Spoken like a real lefty. Everyone else’s fault but his own. Wah, wah, wah....

He’s a good actor, but too two dimensional. We own Hunt for Red October. We enjoy his performance in that film, but Baldwin’s characters are often similar in behavior if you examine a lot of his films.
An Anthony Hopkins or Mel Gibson he is not.
Absolutely, he’s no ‘great’ by any means. After Glengarry he never did anything I’d call even just ok. Not that I’ve seen him in a lot. He hasn’t really headlined any movies I’ve seen. And I don’t watch too much network TV, so skipped him in all that.
But I will give some credit on those 2 roles :)
I spare him no appreciation given his contempt for the likes of me.
I hate to admit it but I thought he did a really good job with the small supporting role he had in "The Departed"
I do miss Andrew. He’d be so pleased for the special mention!
I’ll give him 3 weeks to stay out of the public eye. He’s an attention whore, which is the only reason he put this screed out.

I hated The Departed. Baldwin was predictable in his role. I viewed the movie as a typical Hollywood film: the celebration and exploitation of violence and nihilism.
Thank you Roger, Fox, and Breitbart, but I’m afraid he’ll be back. He’s a lefty, thus also a liar.
He was good in Team America.
