Yes they do. And so do I, but it’s not what you think. It’s parapsychology, cryptozoology, séances, mind control, far-seeing and a host of other things they’ve been working on for centuries and centuries. For instance: I have to laugh when people say alchemy is “disproven” and long gone. If only. I was in the intelligence field for years, so this isn’t just out of some book.

So should I start practicing telekinesis? Or is it a waste of time?

Well God is still bigger than this.

Notice that I said God, not “religion.” “Religion” can be with respect to all sorts of supernatural worldviews.

Why cryptozoology? — Granted that there are some kooks, there really are rare and uncommon beasties (we put them in zoos), and there are some interesting stories of things like [Native American] thunderbirds — and my grandpa has a couple interesting stories form people he'd come across, the two that touch on cyrptozoology would be these:

  1. My grandpa had a cowboy-friend who was riding along one day and came across a track that looked like a giant snake trail, like someone had dragged/dug the path with a tire perpendicular to the ground. Anyway, his horse was skittish and would refuse to cross that trail.
  2. I think it was the same cowboy-friend, but anyway he was out in the New Mexico desert towards the mountains of the continental divide IIRC [perhaps near Cuba, NM] and he came across a Stegosaurus skeleton. — when he tried to find his way back to that place he couldn't find it again among the mountain/semi-mountain rough terrain.
