Outrageous!
There is no inflation...the Labor Department said so.
Considering the abysmal labor participation rate — a pay CUT would make a lot more sense.
I propose a 20 percent pay cut.
Let’s negotiate.
Democrats buying votes with our money.
Treat them like the “other” federal workers in the military.
on the same day that they announce pay and benefits cuts to the military. Yet, these RATS keep getting reelected.
Now you're thinking like a Democrat.
Well done - you should run for office.
Too be 'fair', the DemonRats have a long history of keeping the Military ballots from being tallied (along with other acts of voter fraud).... And, of course, the Republicans have a long history of not doing anything about it.
“already over paid.”
*****************************************
And many of them (especially those in the DC, Maryland, Northern Virgina area) are VASTLY overpaid—to say nothing of being under worked.
0bungu will pay these leeches (you could fire half these porn surfers and no one would notice) with the money he takes from our military
How many snow days off did they get so far?
I’d even go for this if there were a corresponding 1% improvement in productivity, a 1% decrease in discretionary spending...something...
But no. “It’s Government”.
I think in these tough economic times you need to show where the responsibility lies and set an example for everyone. I propose a fifty percent cut in pay and benefits for the President down to Congress and that includes all of the aides that have helped them screw up the economy. For your regular fed employee no increase or cut, for the military a restoration of all benefits and 5% increase. For each budget year that spending increases the executive and legislative branch receive another ten percent cut in pay. I bet we'd clean house awful friggin fast.
They should get at least a 25% cut!!!
“... you’re thinking like a Democrat ...”

Ouch!
Is that on TOP of the existing built in cost of living increases....?
[ Democrats buying votes with our money. ]
When the public can vote themselves largress, then we are screwed... or so said one of those founders with powdered whigs and wooden teeth...
Does anyone care what it will cost to increase the salaries by 1 per cent in just sheer labor time to input the changes. Kind of like the refund check I got from IRS a couple of years ago in the amount of $1.31 for over payment of interest.
