Donohue has previously said that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce would "pull out all the stops" to get immigration reform this year. The group reportedly plans to spend $50 million to blunt the influence of the Tea Party, largely because it opposes amnesty, and millions more to push for immigration reform legislation that the Congressional Budget Office has said would lower the wages of American workers.
Donohue wrote that "a system in which more than 11 million undocumented immigrants are living and working in our communities in de facto amnesty is indefensible" and claimed that "immigrants do not typically compete with Americans for jobs" and "serve as a complement to U.S.-born workers and can help fill labor shortages across the skill spectrum and in key sectors."
He claims that "support for reform has never been stronger" even though Gallup found that only three percent of Americans view it as a top issue. He also said amnesty proponents "include lawmakers from both sides of the aisle, as well as labor, business, law enforcement, ethnic organizations, religious groups, and the high-tech industry" without mentioning that many of these groups are front-groups supported by left-wing donors like George Soros.
"There will never be a perfect time for reform. The political landscape isnt going to be any more conducive to reform in two years or four years," he wrote. "The case for immigration reform is clear. The need is undeniable. The time is now."
Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has repeatedly emphasized that big-business interests want immigration reform legislation to get cheaper labor at the expense of the those in America's

Mark Levin,
” US Chamber of Crony Capitalism “
Let’s see we have a bunch of illegals leaching jobs and money from Americans, the mis-administration wants to decimate the military throwing more Americans out of work into a job poor failing economy. And this jackass thinks the most important thing to do is legalize a bunch of criminals and throw the gates open to more invaders? Seriously this guy sounds more like the pres. of the mexican chamber of congress.
So the CoC apparently knows that the climate for aupport of illegal aliens will be even less in a couple of years than it is now-now why would that be the case? Why would people be even less supportive than they are now? There must be a reason. It seems that they know that amnesty won’t do anything good for America in general and American citizens and workers, so they need to ram it through before that becomes even more apparent to more Americans, Now that’s just treacherous and the CoC could be seen as traitors.

Its not even crony capitalism anymore. Its more akin to crony socialism at this point.
The big guy gets all the tax breaks and subsidies for supporting restrictive laws which the little guy can’t overcome.
I’m glad Levin played quotes from this clown. He makes Chuck Schumer look like Ted Cruz. (Meanwhile Rush is stuck on the NFL and Apple iOS patches.)
The Chamber is the enemy of the rule of law and of national sovereignty.
Just say NO to Illegal Alien Amnesty!! Keep calling!! Its NOT OVER!!

“Its not even crony capitalism anymore. “
There is no such thing as “crony capitalism” because it is oxymoron.
That phrase is used by commies to belittle capitalism. Vast majority of businesses have no cronies — US CoC is looking for its own, just like any lobbying association would. Lobbying is constitutional RIGHT! If you can pay for your influence, why not use it in the free market? Corporations have as much freedom of speech as any diseased parasite mooching off of net tax payers.
Probably the biggest reason boehner wants amnesty is so he can retire and a cushy lobbying jobs for the chamber of commerce.
LOL.. Now THAT’S a good reason to pass it. Because it will get tougher later on. LOL
RE: US CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PRES: PASS AMNESTY NOW BEFORE IT GETS TOUGHER
DON’T PASS AMNESTY AT ALL, MAKE IT TOUGHER.
TRANSLATION: "PASS AMNESTY BEFORE THE MID-TERM ELECTIONS!"
Jeff Sessions needs to be majority leader next year. Kick Hatch, Flake, Graham and Cornyn off the judiciary.
Tougher, hell, Make it Impossible.
translation: pass amnesty now while the Dims and the cronies are in charge,
and so no one will know how much is hidden in a giant “omnibus comprehensive” bill until after the dictator POTUS appointed regulators tell everyone what it really means
I wish this Donhue guy would just go away.
Sessions is going to wake up with a terminal headache if he doesn't shut up .... with this kind of money on the table.
Breaking wages has been a Chamber preoccupation since the 1850's, when John Forbes and Lewis Tappan were pushing the idea of sending black slaves "home" to West Africa and replacing them with millions of Chinese coolies. That would have worked out swell, don't you think?
But the solicitude of the Chamber types for the working man has always been touching. </sarc>
If we ever get power again, we need to end all the cronyism going on in government
