Just when I was about to say, “Well, I guess he decided he’s done as much damage as he can do....”
*sigh* As if more proof there is something seriously wrong with our political system were needed.
I always figured that his wife would run to replace him. She’s a big time Democrat Washington Lobbyist and is about 20 Yrs + his junior in age.

She was Half His Age when she married the 55-year-old Dingell in 1981.
The rule is simple: Never, ever, vote for anyone with a D after their name, even if they are by far the most qualified (actually, especially if they are highly qualified). Always vote to minimize the likelihood of a D attaining public office, even at the expense of electing a disgusting RINO instead.
