I don't trust them. The history of this industry and business segment are well-documented, and for them not to know about the NRA's "Eddie The Eagle" GunSafe Safety Program in schools, is poor market research.

In another life, I was in NYC Marketing/Advertising/PR (Exec VP) for many years, on both agency and client side, and I would never go into a multi-million dollar account presentation meeting - P&G, Hertz RAC, Revlon, BMW, BFGoodrich, GM etc - with such an obvious huge historical hole in my marketing plan's strategy and advertising campaign's tactics. Nor would I ever have allowed my creative, media or account teams to miss that critical historical information as part of the mix.

Just plain bad research and a stupid move, by Evolve.
