I am impressed with the Nikon P series for the price.
Good clear glass BDC, but ultimately you have to figure out differences in bullet weights.

I have tons of berdan primed crap that is 65 years old.
It still goes bang every time.
It is not the primer pocket that makes a difference as to longevity, it is what the primer in the pocket is.
Berdan primer pockets only suck because they are difficult to reload.
Technically they are superior to Boxer in reliability because they have two flash holes.
