I’d love to read about some enterprising person dynamiting at night Lenin’s statue in Seattle.

I have seen said statue up close.

Considering how big that thing is (more than 20 feet high) and that it’s made of bronze, the amount of dynamite needed to blow it to pieces would also damage businesses and homes around it. It’s located directly in front of a Taco Bell, and any detonation big enough to destroy it would likely take out the front half of the restaurant. Flying shrapnel will also damage houses and apartments nearby.

Not to mention...the area is very well-lit, so anyone trying to destroy it would be immediately noticed.
