I am for amnesty. Under conditions. One, the border is closed and that doesn’t mean a cute fence. Two, all illegals currently in the US who have a criminal record are deported wth families. Three, all illegals MUST have a sponsor, either an employer or clergy. And finally, illegals receiving citizenship are forbidden to vote for a period of 10 years.

It is illegal to ask if one is a citizen in California elections, even if they can't speak one word of English.
