When we lived in California, I slept through a 5.1 aftershock of the Northridge quake and a thunderstorm at the same time.

Yes, but it’s accessible from the back porch and it’s dark, damp and only houses the water heater, some tools, and the floor is cement with only one very high, small, tiny barred window. I hate it down there.

We had a really nasty storm one night and it blew a brick out of the chimney which hit the roof and bounced. Everybody was in the hallway at 2am in their nightclothes looking for where the noise came from.........except me. lol

Btw, the brick hit 3 times on the roof over my bed. ;-)
