Stockman has closed the gap from 44 to 15 points, but more importantly, has placed Cornyn, the No. 2 Republican in the Senate, below the 50% hurdle at only 43% GOP support. Cornyn needs 50% in order to avoid a runoff on May 10.
All the major Statewide Offices have multiple GOP candidates vying for
the nomination. This should make for a better turnout during this primary.
Governor
Lieutenant Governor
Attorney General
Comptroller of Public Accounts
Land Commissioner
Agriculture Commissioner
Railroad Commissioner

That was a head to head but that race has a total of eight candidates and the other
six weren’t surveyed. There was a 29% unsure in the head to head you are referencing.
Here in DFW almost everyday I’m getting mailers, phone calls, e-mails, radio ads and even billboards touting state sen. John Carona. Enough already. The only Carona I’m voting for is the one with a long bottle neck and a slice of lime wedged in.
FYI to Freepers in Kaufman County:
Early voting will ONLY use the electronic machines. You will NOT have choice of paper or electronic during early voting.
On Primary Day, March 4th, ONLY PAPER ballots will be used. If you can, please vote on March 4th - paper ballots leave a paper trail!
Say thank you to our GOPe Republicans.
Ted Cruz has endorsed the following for TX Supreme Court slots:
Nathan Hecht
Jeff Brown
Jeff Boyd
Phil Johnson
Go Texans. Keep Cornyn below 50%.
All four are incumbents and most likely will win easily.
I have heard of Senator John Corona but don’t know his voting record.
IMHO, the recent following two quotes by Conservative Commentator Eric Erickson highlight why Conservative TEXANS should make their votes count in this Primary Election:
1.) - - - As all of us know, we may not live in Texas, but Texas affects us and we all probably secretly or not so secretly want to live there. - - -
2. ) - - - - Its imperative that Texas have strong conservative leadership because as Texas goes, so goes America. - - -
I believe that the Lt. Gov (Dewhurst) race is the only one of the top State offices
that has an incumbent running. I’m not including Federal or Judges in that list.
So Texas will have a new leadership group come 2015.
Please head out to vote for your conservative candidate.
Thanks. Probably take advantage of that.
