I make my own bread, I use a 100# of flour a year, cost a few years ago $26 and change, now about $37 and change.

We buy flour in bulk as well. The cost of the gluten free mixes for bread, cookies and stuff is exhorbitant. The prepared stuff is even more outrageous. I often wonder who actually buys that stuff. And whether or not they’re actually paying for it or if the rest of us are paying those prices.

I make my own bread as well, and although making most of your meals from scratch helps stretch the food budget, even the basics are increasing in price at a depressing rate.
