Young Venezuelans have been rallying for two weeks, despite a security crackdown, a local media blackout, and attempts by the government to censor the web and the airwaves. President Nicolás Maduro remains in control, but without Hugo Chavezs as the unifying behind "Chavismo," there is a chance the unrest may shake the balance of power in Caracas.
Wondering why Venezuelans are protesting in the first place? Watch our video:
Ground rules will be different here. Well at least in TX and some of our neighbor states.
Funny thing is this: The Cubans and the powers-that-be in Venezuela are feeling a lot like the Democrats these days. We have November to look forward to. With them it’s like a poured beer coming suddenly to a head. To get the maximum overflow(pun intended) we need a President Cruz to stand on his soap box and holler out in Spanish the equivalent of “FOOD FIGHT!.” None of this low key “We stand with the people” stuff. Let the Russians and the Democrats accuse us of interfering in their domestic affairs. Just dare them to get involved militarily. Timing is everything. Remember “Tear down this wall.”
Yes, Timing is Everything.
And the useful idiots here in the US remain idiots.
Venezuela is a good practical lesson why we must remain armed to the teeth! [and be willing to use them]
Yep. I just read a history lesson about personal dividing disputes between Texas colonist and Mexico.
Good lessons in that one.
One that is not lost.
Texas likes it’s guns, and WE WILL KEEP THEM!
Where are all the coiffed and breathless CNN/NBC/CBS reporters thrusting microphones in student protestor faces breathlessly asking "What do you think about President Obama?"?
Isn't there something missing here?

Marxist presidents of Bolivia, Evo Morales and Rafael Correa of Ecuador, expressed their solidarity with Venezuelas dictator, Nicolás Maduro. Is Obamas silence also an implicit endorsement of Maduros brutal repression of those who oppose his illegitimate regimen?
