The TTAG tipster who alerted us to PepsiCos financial support of Gabrielle Giffords 2013 civilian disarmament gabfest entered pepsico into the search bar at aspenideas.org. (Fiendishly clever, eh?) Up popped Brad Jakeman, President, Global Beverage Group, PepsiCo, Inc., right below none other than Gabrielle Giffords, the doyenne of disarmament. Being the seasoned journalist I am I Googled Mr. Jakemans name and the festival and found the YouTubery above. According to Mr. Jakemans full official bio the Aussie was the marketing maven behind Activisions gun-intensive Call of Duty video game (Theres a soldier in all of us). Here he is below Ms. Giffords .

16 ounces or more will kill you.
Just ask nanny statist Bloomturd.
Darn, I’ll have to drink more beer now
do they count the freaking mountain of ice that comes with the bit of soda as part of then16 ounces?
you want to know what’ll really kill you before the soda? ice from a restaurant ice making machine. generally less sanitary than the water from their toilets. bacteria in the supply lines, and from employees’ unwashed hands getting in there.
beer has never killed anyone. stop drinking soda and only drink beer.
problem solved. /s

Root beer float...instantaneous death!
wow, i have cheated death a LOT of times....
I understand that. I’m pretty sure if you stopped tomorrow they wouldn’t notice anyway. :)
For me, it’s not a problem. Local fresh-squeezed OJ, milk, local apple cider, tap water, craft brews, and wines from small wineries all over the world. That’s it.
Well—they might—LOL!
(I don’t drink quite that many)
Thanks rktman.
Little off topic, but she did not live here in Tucson while she was our representative. She lived with her husband in Houston, while he was an astronaut. He could not even vote for her.
I think he has been holding on to her as if she were a dog on a leash, associating her cause with one he can pony-back ride on, so he can later fulfill his political aspirations, as her heir apparent.
BTW. With his round shaved head, he looks a lot like her assailant.
She tried to show herself off a proud daughter of the West by posing with guns at the gun range, when she campaigned.
What stopped the assailant, were the senior citizens at her event, who knew how to handle guns. The lady on the ground, unclipped the magazine, while the men (one with a concealed gun) wrested the gun away from the gunman.
Big business bets on what’s hot at the time.....their only thought is to the bottom line....as it should be....getting involved in politic is a very stupid business decision that is guaranteed to piss off half your customers!!!
I stop buying Pepsi crap years ago.
