Admittedly I dont listen to Christian rap or rap of any kind for that matter, but after watching this news report I had to hear Bizzles new song which is a well thought out response from a Christian perspective to Macklemores song Same Love.- (the song the played at the Grammys for the big gay wedding.)
And let me say Bizzles new song doesnt pull any punches at all. It treads in love but it doesnt tread lightly. Its quite powerful actually.
But first, watch this news report by KHOU on how Bizzles life is being threatened because of his new song:

People said the same thing about Christians and all forms of music. Yeah, I'm not crazy about "Christian rock" either, but at least the rock musicians they emulate aren't a bunch of murderers....however, they are drug crazed womanizers.
Besides...rap isn't even music.

Not even Christian rock. Bluegrass, country, jazz, folk, etc. Some even say any musical instrument is taboo.

Rap is a musical form, not an ideology. He is a Christian rapper. Not a murder promoter.

Rap is a musical formDebatable! Wrong! That would require musicians.
not an ideology
Yeah, it pretty much is...glamorizing feral urban evil, violence and filth.
He is a Christian rapper.
Oxymoron. That's like saying he's a Christian Nazi.

Some even say any musical instrument is taboo. You may be right, but I'm kinda partial to those magnificent pipe organs, classical choral arrangements, as well as a soul-stirring Full-Gospel Chorus with Gospel combo, piano/Hammond.

Reminds of a guy I knew that hated any sort of contemporary Christian music because they were too much like those worldly rock stars, but he loved his “Elvis Sings Gospel Greats”.
Same bolt of cloth as Jimmy Swaggart on TV preaching against Christian rock music then running a commercial for his new Southern Gospel album.

You call this artist a murderer, and then you have the nerve to accuse someone of slandering you. How ironic.
