I like Stovall, but don’t see the point in him attacking McConnell.

I agree that McConnell probably should be replaced. Age and voting record. But he is not running for office in Texas.

Makes me wonder if someone offered to pay for the ad if he attacked McConnell.

In my opinion, Stovall was ill advised on the ad. He should have stayed focused on Cornyn and Stovall’s vision of what the State of Texas needs.

Cornyn is desperate. I think he will be forced into a runoff. And I think he will be defeated in the runoff.

I disagree. The enemy that Stovall is running against is Washington. McConnell is a chief enabler and Cornyn is his fixer. It's good and proper that Stovall call them out.

On the other hand, Stovall could have been a bit more artfully subtle and left the 'turtle' reference to 'fighting like'; people would have completed the thought on their own.

These are things that lose elections for Republicans- Democrats are allowed to insult their opponents: call them Uncle Tom’s, Porch Monkey’s,and list of so many other insults...

Republicans would do well to remember to fight with facts...
