I live in Alaska. It’s the world’s biggest small town. (For instance, one of my former students in a nearby village posted a photo this woman’s boyfriend, practically screaming that they were friends for a while. I believe him.)

Having said that....

Most of the slayings took place here? Sure, 20-plus killings might be a spit in a bucket in Chicago, but it would surely be noticed up here. The poor young woman kidnapped at the coffee stop last year in Anchorage was on the news every night for weeks trying to look for her, and the killer. Folks do disappear here, but suspicious disappearances spike interest. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s inflating things out of proportion just for kicks.

In any case... prayers for the families of the missing people, and even prayers for this poor lost soul. God help her.

I agree with you 100%. I live just eleven miles from North pole . If that many people were missing, it would be noticed.

There are always missing persons here, but most of them are found at a cousin's house or something and didn't know they were missing.
