People with serious pre-existing diseases, precisely those the president aimed to help with ObamaCare, could find themselves paying for expensive drug treatments with no help from the health care exchanges.
Dr. Scott Gottlieb of the American Enterprise Institute explains,"if the medicine that you need isn't on that list, it's not covered at all. You have to pay completely out of pocket to get that medicine, and the money you spend doesn't count against your deductible, and it doesn't count against your out of pocket limits, so you're basically on your own."
The plan had claimed it would rescue those with serious pre-existing conditions.
"So it could be that a MS patient could be expected to pay $62,000 just for one medication," says Dr. Daniel Kantor, who treats MS patients and others with neurological conditions near Jacksonville, Florida. "Thats a possiblity under the new ObamaCare going on right now."

“By design Obamascare is not helping Americans it is about killing us.”
And you are not kidding either.

Denying coverage for some prescription drugs can end up costing more

“So while people with pre-existing and chronic conditions may be able to get insurance through the exchanges, that coverage may not pay for the medicines they need.
Consider the widely used multiple sclerosis (MS) drug Betaseron. Under a midlevel, silver exchange plan offered by insurer Meridian Choice, an MS patient living in Kalamazoo County, Mich., would have to shoulder the entire $4,500 monthly cost of the medication.
Further, because the drug isnt on the plans formulary, money spent on Betaseron wouldnt count toward Obamacares cap on out-of-pocket spending.”
Who can afford that?! Some coverage!
Even drugs that are covered, copays on many have gone up...I have a grandson that has type 1 diabetes. My daughter has excellent insurance- her rates went up, her copays went up...and now the insulin and supplies my grandson needs to live cost her more as well. Some of it is done by repackaging in smaller quantities so the same copay per box is now essentially double...some of it has just had the co-pay go up.
> Went to pick up my prescription the other day and was told for 15 pills the cost was $91.63 under my new and improved health insurance plan. I told the pharmacist to go ahead and put it back on his shelves. No way Im paying that much
One way to get rid of the (white) peasants is to let disease or sickness spread among them and withhold the medicine needed to treat them.
> The whole idea of insurance is to cover unexpected medical costs, including medications.
That’s true if the intent is to provide healthcare but if it’s really to generate revenue then everything you don’t payout, you get to keep and the whole medical apparatus / system is just a prop in one giant whole sham.
Wonder how homosexual men who require a litany of expensive drugs to keep their HIV in check will love their Dear Leader when they find out they will NOT be covered in the very near future?
The young people in our nation who voted for this POS twice, are just now finding out that their loyalty to this Marxist has them on the hook for the bulk of this disaster. Leftists use people, then spit them out.

Not a problem. He will sign another E.O. and exempt gays from having to pay for ANY drugs they may need.

Don’t worry. The President has got a pen.
He’ll just write in the necessary new law amendment in the margin...
