Our current economy stinks so bad that the uneducated and unskilled illegal aliens are leaving. There is nothing happening now to draw talented legal immigrants in significant numbers.
And the Mexican economy is actually doing steadily better. As our economy slides into the abyss and the Mexican economy improves, the illegal immigration problem just might sort itself out. Or 21st Century Okies just might pack up and head for Mexico.
