I have a better solution. Get a snowblower. I can drink coffee and smoke like a jenny before going out and it doesn’t bother me. :)

I have a pretty good snow blower but it didn’t work for this type of snow. It was too “wet” and got clogged up. It happened to many neighbors in Maryland too. Good suggestion if it is fine light snow, but not the enormous snow storm that we just had.

As another poster pointed out, it doesn't work well on wet snow. When we lived in the country I found someone who would plough the 90 foot driveway for $20. A single repair of a snow blower can easily be $200. That left the shovel just for the trim.
