Securing the border is a red herring, not that we shouldn't try, but it's an impossible task unless we place massive resources on it... which we aren't going to...

We need to decentify the illegals to cross over and employers to hire them.....

1. You get caught here illegally...straight back home no questions asked...
2. Absolutely no local, state, federal bennies allowed...
3. An employer hires an illegal, bone crushing penalties...
4. Expired visa...sent home immediately...

For the "Dream Kids" who through no fault on their own as children are here...Give them temporary visa and three years to apply for and win citizenship...if not put on a bus back to whatever hell hole their parents come from

How much is "massive?" Illegal aliens cost us well over $100 billion a year not to mention the societal costs of drugs that are smuggled across the border or the national security concerns of terrorists coming thru the border.

Amnesty? Why should we provide amnesty to these so-called children? Right now Obama's backdoor amnesty allows "children" up to the age of 30 to apply and they could have been brought here up till the age of 16. They are given work permits and allowed to compete against Americans for jobs.

Once these estimated 1.8 million Dreamers are legalized and made citizens, they can sponsor their relatives to come here including siblings, parents, cousins, etc. And what do we do with the parents of the Dreamers? Deport them? How can we do that if we want to keep families together?

And will this Dreamer amnesty be forever, i.e, a rolling amnesty? When you set the precedent that any illegal alien coming here with children can expect their children to gain legalization and citizenship, then you will get many more coming here. We already have 300,000 to 400,000 anchor babies born in this country every year. One out of every ten children born in this country has an illegal alien parent. Most of the costs are paid by Medicaid for these new instant citizens who also become eligible for food stamps, welfare payments, etc.

Legalizing the Dreamers is a very bad idea. This "no fault of their own" is pure nonsense. We put US citizen parents in jail when they commit crimes. Their children must bear the consequences of their actions. And these "poor children" enjoy all the benefits of living in one of the richest countries in the world. Taxpayer paid educations, medical care, clean water, dependable electricity, etc. These children are not victims, they are winners who have a far better life than most of the billions of children in the world. When you reward something, you get more of it.
