Nonsense - it’s not the skin color, not really - that’s just a weapon. What it actually is that nobody gets called a “liberal” (or “progressive” or “moderate” or “centrist” - or any other positive label journalists can think of) without going along and getting along with the journalism monopoly. The only difference between an “objective” journalist and a “liberal” is that no journalist ever calls anyone other than a journalist “objective.” That’s it. It’s a hiring decision, nothing more. The difference between a “conservative” and a “liberal” is that the “conservative” can never get a job as an “objective” journalist, and the “liberal” can - because he already has experience second-guessing people who work to a bottom line.
His actions has assured that no one with a working brain will ever vote for him again, not that he will have any opportunities unless he uses his executive powers to repeal the 22nd amendment (which his idiot followers would’t get why that’s a bad thing). He’s like hiring the Mafia to manage the IRS. Bad idea.
