Can criminal charges be placed after he leaves office?

I might agree with if I thought the threat of impeachment would restrain his power grabs....

If anything that threat would empower him because the media would have his back....

Indeed, impeachment should be a start to prosecute the way business goes on in DC at large. Further charges should follow.

It is a dangerous precedent to have people bragging about what they can get away with, the number of people they have fooled and made money of, or, worse, in the case of Mao the number ofnpeople they murdered.

Always is easier for a tyrant to murder his own first, then they murder entire countries.
