Really? I oppose any and ALL legislation about immigration, EXCEPT to enforce the laws ALREADY written.
First of all, build the bloody fence! They voted for this years ago, and STILL haven’t done so. Yeah, sure in some areas it’s been built, but if there’s gaps, then no, the fence isn’t up yet. Can one keep a lion in half a cage? Can half a damn hold back a river?
2nd, the president has an obligation and has sworn a Constitutional oath to faithfully enforce all laws. He has broken his oath by not enforcing the immigration laws as currently written.
WHAT IS BEHIND THE IMMIGRATION LAW PUSH? Democrats. There is only one thing that motivates the democrats, Obama included, of course, and the media, which for purposes is the propaganda arm of the democratic party to WANT illegal immigrants to be allowed to stay—votes. Any and all legislation to “address” the “immigration problem” will be twisted by the democrats to get illegals the vote. It is that simple. If ANY Republican, no matter how conservative, allows this camel’s nose to peak under the tent, then they can say goodbye to any conservative majority in this country. Illegals allowed to vote WILL vote democrat.
I know that Impeachment of Obama will fail in the Senate, but sometimes you have to fall on your sword over an important issue. Obama has violated his oath, and therefore, should be prosecuted by the manner laid out in the Constitution.
