I wonder if this study repeats the fallacy
of many like it:
A divorces are counted but splits between,
say, cohabitating couples is not.
Nope. The study measures what percentage of families with 15-17 year old children have 2 parents who were married for the kids' whole lives. So divorced and never married are treated the same.
