No, especially not an open seat with a pretty laughable Dem candidate. Both Bohlinger and Walsh seem like clowns (Does bow-tie Bohlinger he think he’s ‘Bill Nye the anus guy’?)

Besides, Daines is a much more capable challenger than Rehberg was, and has hopefully learned from the mistakes.
The only winnable races ripe for an upset due to moderate squishes are South Dakota and West Virginia, but the war on coal has doomed Dems in WV and they are running a Happy Meal candidate in SD, so I’m not worried about those.

The real fight is going to be in the red states. Knocking off Landrieu, Hagan, and Begich, with fingers crossed for wave victories in Michigan and Colorado. New Hampshire is an afterthought if Brown runs. Not rating Oregon or Virginia as of now. Iowa is a wild card.

This all depends on us holding Kentucky of course, which may be impossible with Mitch McConnell. He needs to be taken down. I’m not losing sleep over Georgia. Local Dems are bankrupt and minorities skip the midterms, unless Michelle Nunn goes blackface and fools them.

Good analysis, and it lines up pretty well with what I’m thinking. That’s probably why I liked it. :-)
