Na, this like all the other United Nations and African Union peacekeeping missions is really a jobs program for third world soldiers. The EU pays for most AU missions.
If anyone was going to invade CAR it would be South Africa. They lost a couple dozen soldiers when the capital of CAR was overrun by the Muslim rebels and were all set to go back in and 'fix things' when the public outcry threatened to topple the South African government. Seems no one knew that South Africa had troops in CAR acting as bodyguards for the corruptocrat president.
