I just tend to be a bit pedantic at times-I had not heard about this lawsuit...
I’ve never understood what would compel a woman-especially a woman who already has given birth to a child-to actually participate in the infanticide of her unborn offspring-even if she is selfish enough to ignore the right of the child to life, she must realize that the further along in pregnancy she is, the greater the risk of her own death from such a procedure. She knows how birth happens-a rough go even in a clean, safe environment attended by an MD or a nurse-midwife and supportive family, so how risky does she think a forced, full-on premature almost-birth in dubious surroundings is likely to be?
