Sorry, but hydroelectric dams create more, much more living space for fish than it kills them....

Hydro works if it rains and/or snows enough.

Not so much during a mega-drought, as CA may be in the process of finding out.

Fish below dam feed on fish killed by dam, increased food supply results in larger fish than would typically be found if no dam.
