New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has been criticized for putting children at risk by failing to declare a snow day as blizzards hit the city on Wednesday.
Teacher's unions and elected officials called the mayor's decision a 'mistake' as schools were kept open despite New York's governor declaring a state of emergency.
NBC weather anchor Al Roker even took time out from his Olympic coverage to blast the mayor's snow policy, saying: 'Its going to take some kid or kids getting hurt before this goofball policy gets changed.'

Is that old windbag still on the air?
They couldn’t be bothered with voting so they get De Blasio. They can sleep in the bed they made.
Al Roker was so excited to be at the White house he pooped his draws
I thought al croker was a candy made by brown & haley...oh....wait a minute...
Is he still pooping his pants?
And parents, you’re supposed to be adults. If you think it’s dangerous to send your children to school, don’t do it. DeBlasio isn’t your boss. So they miss a day of school - big deal.
Wow I always thought The Weathermen (e.g., Bill Ayers) were partial to communists.
“And parents, youre supposed to be adults. If you think its dangerous to send your children to school, dont do it.”

That sums it up in a nutshell.
.
I feel bad for the kids, but FUNYC!
You hired this nut, now choke on it.
BTW, Roker was talking about yesterday, not today. It was not even snowing until very late last night. (Not defending the Commie mayor, just saying...)
I hope you live in New Jersey, Al. Or else your days of actually having your garbage picked-up are through.
Funny how pussified liberals are today. Go back even 30 years and it took apocalyptic blizzards to get a snow day.
During the last snow storm in NY few parents sent their kids to school. De Blasio should get a clue from that.
I'm surprised the headline didn't refer to them as "little ones."
One assclown criticizes another.
Yawn.
That’s very true as well. But pussification is a part of that also.
When I was a kid, school board policy was that if you lived within 2 1/2 miles of your school, you walked to school.
Which we did on many days WAY worse than today.
Of course with a minimum of five miles of walking every day, we did not need a big government anti-obesity initiative.
