Simply Stunning
Michelle Obamas dinner dress cost more than the annual poverty level in the US.
Via Twitchy:
Stu Burguiere @WorldOfStu Michelle Obama's dress = $12,000. US Poverty Level = $11,490.
Last night the Obamas hosted a state dinner for French Socialist leader Francois Hollande.
Michelle Obama wore a $12,000 dress while the rest of America suffers through the worst economic recovery ever.

Doesn't anyone have the nads to tell her what styles flatter her body type and what styles don't? She is a tall small breasted, large waisted woman. The classic one piece dresses down to the knees in vibrant colors look good on her. What she's wearing makes her torso look short and emphasizes her flatness.
That, and she doesn't seem to know what good posture does for a woman.

May the Obamas die in abject poverty.

Maybe a slim black satin skirt would have been much better. Carolina Herrarer can’t think that this was a success.

Somewhere in America, some circus is missing their Big Top tent...and a couple of elephants still hiding under it.
My heavens--could the dress designer have designed anything that makes her look like the most extreme example of steatopygia any more? It doesn't even look like it was ironed before she wore it! For $12,000, I'd want to look GOOD in my dress. VERY good. This thing looks like a schmatta made up of flotsam and jetsam, inhabited by an ogress.
