The Secure Fence Act of 2006 mandates spending $4.1 billion to secure 700 miles with double layer fencing. We have spent less than $300 million, built only 48 miles (Yuma Sector) and in that sector, successful crossings were reduced by nearly 80%.

What else is there to discuss? The House should simply pass a bill to complete the funding, and GOP Senators should run ONLY on completing the fence...and NOTHING else on immigration until that is done. The American people would rally behind it. But it will NEVER happen...because the GOP-e doesn't want anything to stop the flow.
