Since it takes almost forever to make Eagle Scout, that means he was a scout long before the ban was lifted. So he’s a liar and untrustworthy.

I don’t know if they have to ‘declare’ or not prior to the ‘decree’ but the Lad is either an overachiever or a liar, or at the very least definitely untrustworthy.

There is nothing on any form that asks if you have gay tendencies. And in scouting the leadership is taught to not discuss sexuality, and we don’t expect the boys to be having sex of any kind, nor is it a matter for any of the merit badges or activities.
And he doesn’t seem to be an overachiever, if the article is correct that he only got 21 merit badges.
