Actually, violence against nurses is an issue. Just about any nurse can tell you stories. It’s been worse in recent years.
Remember when one of the Kennedy’s kicked a nurse in the abdomen when he tried to take his newborn infant out of the hospital without going through protocol.
It is a real issue. I never had to do risk assesment rounds until recently.
