I really feel sorry for you. You think a joke is acceptable about a 70 year old woman, someone who could be your grandmother- who got her head stomped on. You have a serious problem in thinking that we should just accept jokes in poor taste. How about we joke about your children or grandchildren? Would you like that? If you think that this is okay, then you have serious mental issues. If you want to call it - self righteousness or sentimental then I proudly am a self righteous and sentimental person.
