The culture of corruption is orchestrated by those who position themselves on top, whether they be celebrities, CEO managers or union managers or university presidents, school superintendents, or head coaches, or lobbyists, etc..

I belong to a nonprofit credit union where they merge with other CUs only to justify big raises for the CEO but less benefit for members. Their CDs, fees, loan rates are worse than average and the CEO and his second in command get significantly over a million. The system is rigged for them while we all argue about politics.

They structure the system with cronies so they get all bennies imaginable, and are paid many times what they are worth, because they are in a special club and none have ever risked a dollar of capital.

I find the corporate CEOs who get platinum contracts that make them fireproof even when they fail as most outrageous example of the culture of corruption. The middle class is being stripped by this culture of corruption.

going off topic here but I’m ignorant as to this whole non-profit scam, though I’ve reliably read and know in the bones its a huge ruse.

I’ve got a real lib sister whose become a nurse in the SF Bay area late in life and after not five years of school & practice over there holds that “for profit medicine” is the bane of the US. She walked into near $70 as a starting RN there whereas NH starting RNs make HALF of that. What in the world is going on?

Another sister of mine has a local NPR show and what of that- tho a different horse- (this has been long discussed)?

Can what you say be generally true of “non-profits” - that the up and ups reap the dough? What you say is horrible. How are they keeping the lid on this (aside the usual lib media dominance)? Workers must be getting competitive wages/benes right down the line for this not to come out.
Are there a significant percent of non-profits that have unionized workers? What is going on?

Can u point me to a good link/book?
