The European Union is fuming and contemplating retaliation against the nation of Switzerland in the wake of majority vote by Swiss citizens limiting immigration, one of political correctness's core sacraments. Switzerland uses direct referenda to decide issues that in other countries are left to legislative bodies, and so yesterday the entire nation voted on a proposal to drastically limit immigration from EU countries, and by a narrow majority (50.3%), the measure passed.

The European Union warned it will review ties with Switzerland after the non-member Alpine country voted Sunday to restrict EU immigration in a closely-fought referendum.
Final results of the plebiscite showed 50.3 percent of voters backed the "Stop Mass Immigration" plan pushed by Swiss right-wing populists.
The fall-out from the result could sink a raft of deals with the EU, including on the economic front.
Switzerland is ringed by EU member countries and does the bulk of its trade with the 28-nation bloc, but has remained steadfast about not becoming a member.
The European Commission said it would assess EU ties with Switzerland, raising the prospect of restricted trade or other retaliatory steps.
"The EU will examine the implications of this initiative on EU-Swiss relations as a whole," it said a statement.

The Swiss showed their cowardice by capitulating to the IRS and US bullying when they agreed to give up the names of all American depositors in their banks.
The Japs thought the same thing about us back in the 1940’s(a gun behind every tree).
Now, we would ask them what we did that we deserved to be bombed and then give them Hawaii.
Seriously, don’t all Swiss houses still have a semi automatic rifle in them? Of course, they also have those fancy red knives with a bottle opener in them.
What about people from "other" countries, you know, like the mooselimbs?
No, every Swiss home has a fully automatic weapon in it. Some homes also have anti-tank weapons, and yet more keep military vehicles such as main battle tanks hidden on their property.
Switzerland, you see, does not need an army because Switzerland IS an army!

I hope the fully automatic weapons don’t have 30 round clips.
You would think with all of these automatic weapons just lying around there would be a school shooting in Lucerne, Zurich or Geneva every week.
Yet it’s quite the contrary, isn’t it? Not even crazy people are crazy enough to attempt a mass killing in a country where almost everyone has a military grade (not ‘style’) weapon within arm’s reach.

It was my understanding that every man entered the military.
And afterward he kept his weapon and they changed it from full-auto to semi-auto.
So I would doubt a full-auto in every home.
