I tend to agree, he seems to have built his entire political career out of the misleading "Obama cousin" talking point. I was being sarcastic when I said I had no idea he was related to Obama. Like I noted, he uses it the way John Kerry used his service in Vietnam as an answer to everything in 2004.
Ironic that this "anti-Obama" candidate is trying to launch his political career by milking Obama's name ID. Strikes me as unethical if he's really all about "stopping Obama".

Also agree, Pat Roberts has been one of Ted Cruz's best allies in the Senate, whereas Lugar was way to the left of Roberts and had a very RINOish record for a Senator from a GOP friendly midwestern state. But, as another freeper noted, if they're going to claim Roberts = Lugar, then Milton Wolf = Richard Mourdock. ;-)
Wayne Allyn Root doesn't know Obama, and has nothing in common with him, but launched a political career since he happened to be in the same graduating law school class as him (Columbia University '83), so he goes around getting media attention by portraying himself as "Obama's classmate" and talking about how he can "expose Obama" and prove what a marxist he is.
Milton Wolf doesn't know Obama, and has nothing in common with him, but launched a political career since he happened to be distantly related to him (his mom is cousins with Obama's white grandma or something), so he goes around getting media attention by portraying himself as "Obama's cousin" and talking about how he can "embarrass Obama" and humiliate his "cousin" by defeating his legislation.
I doesn't know Obama, and have nothing in common with him, but I happen to live in the same Congressional district as him, and he came to my town library to speak when he ran for Congress in 2000.
One wonders if I can now launch a political career by going around national talk shows referring to myself as "Barack Obama's neighbor" (making it sound like he lived next door to me) and claiming I have all kinds of dirt on him in editorials and speeches I give ("When I found out my local neighbor, Barack Obama, was going to run for Congress, I realized my other neighbor, Bill Ayers, must have talked him into it...")

No you doesn't. You doesn't know Milton Wolf, either. You doesn't even know Pat Roberts, but you are certainly free to run for elective office. Have at it, and the very best of luck to you.
Not a bad idea. I’m Obama’s “neighbor” the same way Milton Wolf is his “cousin” and Wayne Allyn Root is his “classmate”.
